I never spent a winter in my Airstream, but I did spend time in a RV Park in
Louisville, KY where people spend winters in their units. One was an
Airstream and they just put heater tape on the water line to the trailer and
around the faucet area. The furnace kept the underbelly lines from
freezing. Louisville can get pretty cold. They also used the black foam
insulators on the hose on top of the heat tape.
