I don't know where your interests lie, but we camp at auto race tracks every 
weekend.  Not the big places, but little local tracks.  Almost all of them 
allow overnight camping on race day and some have let us stay on a few days 
before and after.  There definitely no amenities.  It is very spartan.  But 
the "parking lots" are usually fields.  In the quiet of the mornings I see 
deer and all kinds of animals.  I've watched one pair of Redtail hawks raise 
4 families and have seen the "children" start new nests.
