Owning both I must say they are both a challenge. I thought the A/S 
would be easy but have found I have to secure things almost as much as 
on the boat. I am not in the trailer when it is moving so it not 
exactly the same as on the boat. I have installed Window sash locks on 
all the overhead cabinet doors and Refrigerator doors to keep them 
closed. 

Now when I installed a new Refrigerator on my sailboat it wasn't just 
screwed to the deck. It is framed in with angle iron and L brackets. I 
didn't want to be below and have the boat fall off the top a wave 
while heeled and end up with the refrigerator flying across the cabin, 
which would be death. Since part of the crew may be in the cabin 
underway the securing of items in a safe manner is most important. 
Also Items have to be unsecured for use and secured while the boat is 
heeled and underway often in a rough sea. With the trailer I just sit 
in the truck until the weather lets up, big difference.
