I agree with this, the armor all is similar, talcum will come off too soon, I
would consider getting some old fashioned Johnson Floor Wax (remember waxing
those hardwwod floors when you were kids??) and put a strip on the glass inside
edge/face -- where the gasket contacts the glass.

I think that will be the longest lasting answer
