Re: [A/S] Re: Tow Vehicle Choice and O/D
Stan,
Thanks for the heads up on the OD. I was just going by the owners manual
and the onboard engine coolant temperature gauge. Good advice on the proper
towing procedure. I don't want to buy a tranny. I am still paying for "The
Bull".
Regarding the pan...is it a finned aluminum pan ? Is B&M the same company
that sold me my B&M Hydro-stick back in 1976 ? I would like to add the
aluminum pan and a transmission fluid temperature guage like I have on the
Allison transmission in our Wanderlodge.

We do love our Overlander. It is the perfect size for getting in all of our
favorite state and federal parks. Small size with no sacrifice in
convenience. We plan to add a solar system this year and a wall hung
catalytic heater.
I have the Hensley video and have talked with Phil S. about buying one. No
doubt, it is a fantastic piece of safety equipment. We are still employed
so most of our towing is in the 200 to 300 mile range. I know you can
suffer a major panic stop even in a ten mile trip but . . . again I am still
paying for "The Bull".
Best regards, David
