[A/S] Looking to get our 64 Bambi II back from the dead . . .

We are in Dallas - does anyone know of a place that can check it over 
and find/repair needed items  . . . or are they easy enough to do 
ourselves???  It has not been used since the mid-80's and we aren't 
sure how to start.  Any suggestions?
