this is not true.  and I really got tired of that over on the VAC.
the trailer is considered a fixed domicile when it comes to wiring.
that is why you will find that the solid wire is fixed with clamps or other
about every 6" or more.  this holds the wiring rigid so that it will not break.
and quite seriously, how much vibration in either a tow vehicle or a TT would it
take to break 10ga or 12ga solid wire???

suggest that anyone who doubts this, grab a piece of house wiring laying around
unused or left over (go to Lowe's or Home Depot and try this if you want) and
then start trying to break it by bending it...
you will find that it will not happen without about an hours hard effort and
that effort would not be duplicated in a mobile installation over the period of
non stop movement lasting for 20 yrs.  you would wear out your tires, shocks,
running gear, etc....  LONG before you even got close to breaking a strand of
solid copper.
