this is the email list

the point I am trying to make is that - now that I know which year model you
have - you may have a factory wired, with solid aluminium wire,  trailer.
the stuff works just fine as long as you change the outlets to the newer ones
made in accordance with federal law to overcome the heat expansion, cold
shrinkage which caused the wire to loosen in outlets.
The new outlets as I further struggle to remember, had springloaded "teeth" to
grab and hold the wiring.  you can buy these at any Lowe's or Home Depot.


and by the way, most copper wiring in the earlier and up to present day isfaik,
is still solid in the AC wiring.  it is in my 76 at any rate.
The 12VDC is braided and smaller guage I THINK!!
