you never state what year and length trailer nor your name so we are pretty much
nonplussed as to how to answer you or your messages.  please look at how others
use a "sig" to be more "useful or neighborly" in their messages.

to the point, do hope that you do not have an aluminum wired trailer.  
I am not sure but I think some of the early 60s were.  if you find same, either
replace your outlets with those appropriate for such wire or - if you are going
to tear off the inner skin anyway, do a rewiring job.
