Jack, I think the dealer was pulling your leg about messing up your electric
jack by taking the head off. If that was very likely the head wouldn't have
been engineered to make it so easy to remove. I've had mine off several
times when I had battery problems. Never had a problem getting the head back
on correctly. But that's just me.
