get "sealed" battery cases with vent tubes and vent them outside.  you do not
want acidic fumes inside the trailer as they are injurious to health and to any
wood, metal, fabric, etc within an area considered one of concentration to the
batteries.

Actually, try to get your batteries outside of the living area.
