[A/S] Re: help! need to replace split rims.

Just make sure they are 2600 pound rated wheels. Most after
market wheels are 1200 or may 1500 pound wheels. These are
poison on tandem axle trailers and nearly as useless on single
axles. The best place to find trailer wheels is at a place that sells
trailer parts, axles etc.
I just got 5 2600 pound white spoke 15x6 trailer rims for 125
bucks (150 is pretty normal) 6 Robbles (in the Northwest) has
these and Decker (painted gray) made 2600 pound rated trailer
wheels.
Generally the 15x7 is a light weight wheel so if they are pushing
15x7s they are not the right wheel and will fail in service.
My 73 had one 6 hole Chevy (?) wheel on it and it was slightly
damaged. The lug nut seats were deformed.
You might want to read the "junkyard wheel" page at the Inland
RV site.
