Hi Eric,

I'm jumping in here without having read the entire thread
so maybe I missed something, but, you really do need to
ground the trailer frame well. The problem doesn't come
from neutral or ground touching the frame. You will get
a "hotskin" if, for instance, one of the black wires (hot)
chaffed to touch the skin. In this situation the only path
the electricity has to go is through YOU to get to ground.
