I have a little rule about things like this I will pass on.
I do not like to give up anything I have on a truck to get something
else.
All that to say you would probably be okay to do it but you may reduce
the load carrying capability of Brusier.

Let me put it another way just for you,
When that life-sized replica of Trigger turns up at a flea market on your
trip you may not be able to get it home if you reduce Bruiser's load
rating.
