We used to have a '72 Safari, with no grey water tank.  It was not a 
problem for us.  We had one of those portable blue tanks with wheels on it 
that we used whenever we were not at a sewer hookup and weren't allowed to 
drop grey water on the ground.  When we were hooked up to a sewer, we 
stowed the tank under the trailer.  On the road, it rode in the center 
aisle.  The newer models have a valve on the side that allows you to easily 
dump it.
