I have bought from this company many times but have never bought a
camera from them.
The output of this camera is 1 volt Peak/peak.  That is the same as a
VCR.  You would only have to build a small power supply using a LM 7805
to drop the 12 volt down to the 5 volt required for the camera.  The
cable would be the same that the cable company runs in to your house. 
You would bring it up to the hitch and put in a standard "F" type barrel
connector to make an extension cord for TV.

	I can not imagine it costing more than

	This is not a very good camera.  The resolution is only 240 lines where
a regular TV is 525 lines.  When all you want to see is a car or tree,
it will be just fine.
