Hi David,
I'm still towint the same trailer since 64 and then cars were built to be able to tow 
and since they have been lightened up for better mileage I don't think they (the newer 
cars) are built to tow our A/S    Where I used to tow with a chrysler Newport and then 
IH Travelalls the modern car doesn't have the same kind of frame and is lighter in 
weight so now am towing with a 1 ton Ford 350 Van and feel safe on the roads with all 
the trucks, cars,   tank trucks roaring by me at 75 mph and causing my trailer to sway 
towards them.    If you are interested in something like a car how about a
Suburban of like vehicle.....never those flimsy SUV's    If I ever get hit I hope to 
survive because my tow vehicle is a safety net around me.     Pearl in soCal
