Airstream12557     Hi Sam:    Guess I went the other way.....my 64 had tile the whole 
trailer and I had carpet installed over it.    I tend to walk around barefoot leaving 
shoes by door so like the warmer feeling.    My 30' 1964 Soverign takes 11 sq yds of 
carpet so about every 4/5 years I get tired of what is there and have new installed.   
 Yes, for years traveled with 1 or 2 dogs and  found that their toenails scratched the 
tiles and clicked as they joyfully ran up and down the trailer....which prompted  the 
fast installation of carpet.    Black labs or Golden are not tiny dogs.
