[A/S] Re: New Photo Uploaded ... Another use for an Airstream

Guess we'd better introduce ourselves as Art and Heidi, from the 
Chicago Tribune Magazine Airstream photo. 

We've had the 1963 Tradewind since 1984. We don't consider ourselves 
full-timers, but we've spent most nights since '84 sleeping in the 
Tradewind. It's a brilliant space, cozy and efficent. I might add 
that Heidi does a wonderful job preparing our meals in its kitchen. 
In fact, we're in the process of producing a cooking show using the 
Airstream kitchen as the focus point. 

I plumbed the Airstream into the Chicago water system. We have an air 
conditioner that straddles the space between the bathroom window and 
the exterior wall of our building, so when the Chicago summers get 
too hot to sleep in, we're cool inside within about 8 minutes.

I've posted a photo (next to the Tribune picture) of our guest 
bedroom out in the yard--a '62 Bambi. Have been a member of the list 
for more than a year and have enjoyed it immensely. Look forward to 
meeting some of you down the road...
