While it is true that 6V batteries will give you better capacity there is a big 
problem. To date there is no known 6V battery that will fit in the battery 
storage/box/space in an Airstream trailer.
They are just to darn tall. Of the 12V batteries, the Delco Voyager offers a longer 
warranty and the convenience of maintenance free.
