RE: [A/S] E-mail while traveling

One of the main reasons we got our A/S was because we needed to avoid
hotel room expenses when we travel doing Craft shows, Pow Wows, Flea
Markets, etc. At the same time, we also sell on several places on the
net, so we will have to come up with a method for internet for us
definetly. Having cablemodem at home has spoiled us.. I do agree it is
terribly expensive. $60 or so a month for internet hurts, have a friend
that sells on the internet that lives in the sticks so Sat was the only
way he could get a decent connection. Hopefully competition will drive
down the cost some in the near future.

While satellite access to the Internet is available, it isn't
inexpensive.The dish is not presently available in an RV version, i.e.
it won't fold down.
When I'm traveling I'd prefer to see the sights than sit in the trailer
and surf the net.
How could you justify the satellite cost, unless you are a full-timer?
I'm not sure you can move the satellite PC receiver around like you can
regular TV dishes.
