Hi All,
When I got my Airstream the AC cover was in very bad shape.
The sun had oxidized the plastic to a point that it was real thin.
I went to Autozone and got a fiberglass repair kit, took the cover off
and turned it upside down, cleaned it well, and then covered the inside
with several layers of glass cloth from the kit.
It made it twice as strong and totally fixed the thin areas.
I topped it off by painting it silver to match and it looked great.
It was a cheap,quick fix and well worth it.
