I would echo Sam's comments.  I used to have a problem here in Canada
during the winter as I had to close the roof vents and in the spring there
was a musty, stale odour and in some places a little mold.  Then I
installed the Maxi-Vents, front and back.  In seven years I have never
closed them and have never had a leak and it is always fresh, well as
fresh as it can be travelling with two wonderful dogs...and my wife
(I had better say beautiful)!!

The only thing I do not like about them is I would really like to have
Fantastic Fans to move the air in the hot weather.  However, I understand
you cannot also have the Maxi-Vents which would be back to the same
problem in the winter as I could not leave the Fantastic Fans working -
"they ain't strong enough to move the snow that piles up".
