Hi Jerry,

The dealer found several loose screws.  Reading the
thread on load distribution, as well as your post, has
me wondering.

I was told that when the AS and truck were parallel
the equalizers were properly set.  With my Ram 1500
the dealer told me to use the 3rd link, and I had to
raise the trucks rear end so that I could do this. 
When I got my F250 I saw that the truck was a bit
taller than my old Ram, so I set the equalizers on the
2nd link.  This did not require raising the truck, and
the truck/trailer appeared to even with each other.

If my door problem was caused by excess torque,
created by poor weight distribution just how do I know
which link I should use?  I'm an accountant who has no
engineering or mechanical skills, so I just follow the
advice, blindly it seems, of those who can put
engineering and mechanical words together in a
complete sentence.
