Hi Jerry;

Thanks for the tip.  My equalizer has not been
adjusted since I changed out my Ram 1500 for my F250. 
Since the F250 sits a bit higher than the Ram I did
call a local RV shop and they told me I probably
should change to a lower chain link.  I had been
hooking up on the third link, so now I'm hooking up on
the Second link.  When I did this the trailer seemed
parallel with the truck, but the bars did not seem as
tight as before.  Since I don't know anything about
torque or other such things, could I have hurt the
trailer myself??  Call the local protective services
if I've abused my trailer.
