[A/S] 61 Bambi Serial Number I61T235

I now have picked up my 61 Bambi and this is the serial number. 
I61T235.  Does this mean this is the 235th Bambi made?  Also, I 
noticed a couple of odd things.  It has a large 220 type plug and 
cord in the back compartment. Can anyone explain?  It also has gas 
lines under the bottom skin and they look dangerous, like they could 
scrape on something and cause a fire.  Should I change them in some 
way if I am going for restoring close to original?  Eric and Linda
