I do try to "build" instead of "buy".
I do not have any pics of them but might get some if this rain ever
stops.
The cells are a little over 3" in diameter and there are twenty or so in
the panels. I had a desire to use all of the surface area in the panels
so I used smaller pieces of cells wherever I had any room left.
As for the output, I did not put a shunt on them to get the amps out
because you can damage cells like that. They are much like batteries and
can go into reverse current easily. Once they go, they don't come back. 
I will say they do a great job supplying power even on cloudy days. I
don't have enough battery power now to keep up with the cells but might
fix that when the weather breaks.
