Thanks to everyone for their sugestions.  The wife and
I went out to the trailer Monday.  Being a good Aggie,
she proceeded to wrap the plug with a fiber tape.  The
plug held firm and the navigation lights came on.

I took the trailer to the local service store, and
they replaced the plug and some other stuff.  That was
my first towing experience in the F250 PSD.  There is
a mighty big difference between a gas engine and a
diesel.  I understand now why people have been telling
me that diesel is worth the extra cost.
