Re: [A/S] Pressure Treated Wood
When epoxy cures it is totaly harmless.when we are worring about harmeful
chemicals in the trailer inveroment rember that plywood and partical board
are glued up with a formilhide base glue most finishing materials are basicly
harmful. I nthe older trailers the tile was vinel asbotes. trying to
eliminate all things that might be harmful is futile. When I listen to the
worries I wonder how I lived 75 years growing up with led based paint using
led arsenic to spray the potatoes to control the bugs using powered asbestos
to make fiberglass putty breathing exhaust fumes from autos using leaded
gasoline.I used cyanide powder to heat treat steel .and the list goes on and
on. This is by no means to say we should use all care posable when working
with these materials but in the old days we didn't know the danger
associated with many things that we used in our eatery day life. but we
should not be paranoid eater.
