company.  It sold well until they raised the price by thousands of 
dollars.

Would you by a Buick if it cost 30% less than a Cadillac?  Would you 
buy a Buick if it cost the SAME as a Cadillac?  No, you would 
probably buy a Cadillac.

Yep...I just wonder how long it will last with the constant rise of 
the retail prices?

It is funny to observe that younger Airstreamer-wannabes are going 
for the idea of the "vintage" Airstreams, partially because of the 
price.  The market has changed, evolved and expanded and, like the 
automotive industry, the old names, the older product lines find 
their "hold" slipping.  But, so it is with history!!!
