Re: [A/S] Torq loc Vs AutoLoc
Interesting. When I bought my F-250 PSD in December I specifically asked
about an exhaust brake and it's affect on the warranty. The dealer said it
was no problem to install one, and would not void any Ford warranty.

The Western Diesel "Turbo brake" is an electronic exhaust brake designed
specifically for the Ford PSD, and mounts under the dash. Their web page
doesn't go into a lot of detail on how it works. "OEM" simply means
Original Equipment Manufacturer. The block heater doesn't do anything
except heat up the engine block so you can start it in very cold weather.
Like Alaska.
If your dealer gave you all this dope, then I'd find another dope to deal
with.
