Please don't use lacquor thinner to remove the old finish it will make a hell 
of a mess also the fumes are explosive it is carsigenic. use a good paste 
remover and a plastic scraper clean up with paint thinner.WARE A CHARCOLE 
MASK while working inside the trailer.Sand lighylt rember that the veneer on 
the pannels is aboute as thick as a frog's hair . the easiest finish yo use 
inside is severial coats polyutheran varnish sanded between coats.the 
origional 1957 finish was probaly nitrate lacquor. Before I was a boat 
builder i spent years refinishing grand panios.
