Replace the furnace while you still can talk about it.
The sputtering is caused by the gas valve not shutting
off properly. To continue using that furnace is asking
for an explosion, that you and your family may not
live to talk about. Repair parts such as that valve,
are no longer available. To modify the system with a
later model valve, becomes very libelous. LPG
appliances should never be modified by a dealer, let
alone novices. Max
