But in the owners manual it sez we can drive them down the road on 
one tire slowly for a few miles. If frame distortion was going to 
take place road shock would do it quicker than sitting still. I have 
been jacking trailers of one kind or another for 40 years or more 
without mishap. I am carefull to pick a spot that won't do harm. 
There are several places one can jack up an AS, but rather than 
chance damage, AS has provided the "jack pads". When possible use, we 
should use them. Take care. Arnie
