[A/S] Thermometer setback for freeze protection

I would like to replace my existing wall thermostat in the AS (range 50-80) 
with a new thermostat that would let me set a minimum of maybe 35 or so.

Winters are mile here in SC, but we occasionally have low overnight temps, 
so I have be alert unless I have drained all the tanks. I figure with the 
furnace set to 35 or so, I could (almost) forget about freezing weather.

Anybody know of a wall thermostat I could buy to do this?

The ones in my house go down to 40 degrees, but they require an AC control 
circuit, and the AS would use 12VDC.
