[A/S] Traveling in the South West soon!

Hello dear sage travelers,

Before I launch into my main subject I wish to thank whoever posted  
about the wrecked Airstream in Ohio [ Atwood Trailer Sales in Mineral 
City 1-800-310-4994]  We had just priced out a swing down [first] 
step for our '73 for nearly $400 in Jackson Center.  We are buying 
the entire two-step assembly from an '86 for $55.00 plus tax and 
shipping!  Now that is a really a great deal. Thank you! Thank you! 
Thank you!  I'm sure the step will fit, I just hope they can get it 
here before we leave on the 29th. My knees thank you greatly.

Now, here is where you travelers come in.  I know it is a busy time 
of year, but everyone seems to be still glued to their computers!

We are traveling in this general direction:  we don't want to stay in 
the cities, just near the major routes going through them and would 
love Corps of Engineer spots if there are some.

Cincinnati
Nashville
Memphis
Little Rock
Ft. Worth/Dallas
Fredericksburg [we know where we are staying here thanks to Polly!]
Big Bend park
S. New Mexico
S. AZ
Blythe/Yuma/ San Bernadino
San Diego [I have some info on that area]
Death Valley [ditto]
Joshua Tree
Sequoia [too high-cold?]
Southern Nevada
and back to Ohio from there

Two rules:
no snow
no big mountains, or at least easy ones.

That just about does it, any help will be greatly appreciated.
