i' ve run a ceramic cube heater for days w/o a problem but be careful
you have high surface temps of the heater one thing i didn't like was the 
temp of the cord where it plugged into the wall outlet. i switched to a  oil 
filled electric radiator style. the temp of the plug is much cooler, and 
much less noise w/o a fan. the disavantage is the size of the unit and the 
floor space it takes up. i'm in s.e. michigan  and so far i've run it about 
two weeks straight (my unit is a 72 22' safari)
it has no problem hitting 70+ deg. with the temps we have had so far
i was getting 15-16 days on a 30# tank of lp with the stat set at
60 and running the cube during the day to push the temps up.
Since i've gotten the oil filled heater i'm running only this. temps
are easy to maintain, we'll see  what happens when the temps drop...
last year before i fixed the furnace the cube could push the temps
to 40-45 inside after about 4 hrs run time when the temps were 10.i
didn't feel safe running that cube all the time just because of the
temp if the cord.I was drawing so much juice through that cord that it 
melted the snow (remember last year we had a 24+" snow pack). Also
the 72 has a 30 amp electric service. I don't think a 110 electric heater 
should draw 15 amps at max no matter how they are configured
unless they are broken.
