[A/S] Batteries-Group 29 and Diehards
I have a 1976 31 footer and when I replaced my group 24 battery I wound up with
group 29's (they ran out of group 27's and gave me the 29's for the same price).
They "JUST" fit in my battery compartment - actually I had to push them in, but
at least they will not fall out!. I also installed two more group 29's inside
next to the fridge near the wheel well and have them vented outside. It has
worked extremely well for the last 4 years.
Regarding the use of Diehard batteries. Several years ago at International I
attended a seminar on batteries and they strongly recommended you never use
Diehards as they tend to boil at a much lower charging voltage than others.
I have stuck with Inter-State batteries and have been extremely satisfied.
