Moody Gardens is one site you should try to see - much more than plants,
etc. The best seafood by far is at Guido's, on Seawall Blvd. facing the
Gulf (there are plenty of others, Guido's the oldest & still the best).
There is also an old submarine now open to walk thru. And as you will be
in Texas, there is also a great example of an oil or gas exploration
drilling rig (known as a jack-up rig, because that is exactly what the
legs did, jack up to float to the next location & jack down to the sea
floor for stability while drilling) open for tours. Sounds like a drag,
but is actually interesting and educational.
