Probably not PCI slots - Probably PCMCIA which is a different 
animal.  I do not believe that the TV Tuners are available in PCMCIA, 
so a Laptop needs a USB connection to run them.  Then it is a go.  I 
have tried the USB connection TV tuner on my laptop, but did not have 
adequate memory to run it smoothly.  You probably need a minimum of 
256 mb of ram to run really smooth.  These TV tuners are really 
inexpensive though, so it is almost worth it to keep one around for 
an emergency TV using the laptop.  I think I paid $80 CDN when I 
bought mine about a year ago.
