 Yes, Michelle, you are.  It's called  alumania and there is no cure.  I caught 
it 40 years ago & it got worse in the late nineties & early OH-ohs.  
then I scratched the itch   & bought a vintage Airstream this past spring.  
Hold on to your wallet, the purchase price is a small down payment on the real 
cost of restoring the Aluminum Beast,  Like a vintage VW, it can easily cost more 
than the original purchase price, adjusted for inflation. Whichever unit you buy, 
you will develop an irrational attachment & a love/hate relationship with.
