My 89 Excella had the same problem. Go to the end of the trim at the wheel 
well drill the rivet that holds the trim in place. Take a screw driver pull 
up on the end to get it started just keep pulling to the area you want. Make 
sure you seal all the little rivets that hold the aluminum molding on. When 
you ready to put it back put the bottom edge of the trim into the molding and 
start pushing the top in with your finger or screw driver. Also check at the 
back bumper storage box between the sewer storage and the trailer. Make sure 
you seal in the storage box bottom front and were the bumper meets the 
trailer on the top. When I bought my trailer from a friend I was going to 
clean up the rust on the back frame so I drop the back pan. It was a 
nightmare all the insulation was wet the floor was rotted out in both 
corners. Just make sure you seal the top of the bumper between the trailer. 
That's were my big problem was in the bumper. But the leak behind the trim 
was small but a leak is a leak and can do the same damage but a little 
slower.    Good Luck
