I believe your insert is held on with a 3M adhesive
back, could be chrome or black, it will simply peel
off, then drill out what rivets are holding the metal
trim in place, careful not to wallow out the rivet
holes, you'll be puting rivets back in the same holes
or drilling all new ones. To reinstall, clean leftover
adhesive off trim and use a weatherstrip adhesive to
reattach insert, caution that it doesn't shrink when
you put it back on.
