 Hi Sam,
 Yes you can use the Hydraulic brake control units on modern
 tow vehicle brake systems, if the brake unit does not use more than 
 1cc of brake fluid. Bad news is, Can-Am RV here in Ontario Canada
 have sold out of the Hydraulic units. You are right about them
 being good, I have one on my tow vehicle and Harvey Barlow also
 installed one on his. After those electronic type the hydraulic
 unit is a dream to use.
