Jim,

My guess is that the blue fabric is stapled to a plywood panel which
is held on by screws from the inside of the cabinet. Look inside the
cabinet doors below the microwave and if that is the combination you
will have to slide out the microwave to take the top screws out. The
screw heads will be painted to match the inside of the cab and may
be easy to overlook in the dark.
