Re: [A/S] New Hensley Hitch

Hi Don,
We bought a Hensley this past April. We plan to full time when my husband
retires, so Hensley was our choice for the safety factor. He will retire in
April 2002 or October 2002.
We decided to have the factory install the hitch as if we did anything wrong
we critically reduced the safety factor.
At the end of September we set out for the factory after calling and getting
an appointment and driving directions. The factory and the mailing address
are two different addresses.
We arrived at 7 a.m. when they opened, and it took two hours for the
installation process that we both observed closely.
There was a problem right off the bat. It seems they had a problem with the
paint and there was no way that the hitch could have ever coupled together.
Parts were instantly replaced and updated, the installation was completed,
test drive was made and we drove home.
It was worth the money spent on the installation, the gentleman was
fantastic, teaching and explaining everything. The turning radius was, is
impressive.
Can you imagine the frustration we would have experienced had we attempted
to do this ourselves? It was definitely worth any amount of money,
prevented baldness as well as preventing a divorce.....
