Re: [A/S] Winterizing

I have always been particular about the air source I use for blowing out my
water lines. Have you ever seen the "stuff" found in air lines serviced by a
compressor that uses oil in direct contact with the air that it compresses?
It is a mixture of moisture and oil and in high humidity conditions, it makes
a lot of the stuff. It would make more of the stuff than I would want in low
humidity conditions. Not something I would want to have in my potable water
lines. In industrial applications, a filter is used before the air driven
device to keep its air source clean. To keep my potable air lines clean, I
will stick with my 12 volt compressor or use an oil-less compressor for an
air source.
