A detail shop has suggested an acid bath to remove the remaining 
clearcoat on my '83 Sovereign. Has anyone had experience with this 
application? Does it pit the aluminum? Does it streak or damage the 
blue plastic stripes? Any pros amd cons would be appreciated. Thanx
