I have talked to the guys at Equal-I-Zer about noises. And it seems
there can be two sources. If the head is not kept lubricated it will
squawk. The L bracket were the spring bar rides will also
squawk. Equal-I-Zer has come up with Teflon pads for this spot. My only
noise has been from the head not being lubricated as required. It didn't
take me long to get into the habit of torquing and
lubing after each weekend. The need to torque the head lessens with use.
A couple of weekends ago I took a customers coach to him using my hitch.
He has a 32' double axle. It towed as expected.
