[A/S] Losing Originality

Hi Folks,
   When we first got this almost new 72 A/S back in late '97 we were 
determined to keep it 'original'.  Well, no doubt, y'all  have been 
reading in today's  other messages of our 29 yr old original equipment 
being replaced in this last week (electric fridge  thermostat and water 
heater).  Since Sept. 10 we also had to replace old original Armstrong 
a/c.  Now we're 95% done with installing Pergo flooring throughout the 
trailer.  It ain't an easy job but it looks good.  (A-a-nd the good news 
is we didn't get a divorce - quite - while doing the floor ^grin^.) 
   Actually, we removed the 'original' carpet 18 mos. ago and replaced 
with  new carpet but neither of us can stand walking over & over the 
same trail on our carpet and not being able to do a thorough cleaning 
job, thus-s, the decision to go the way of Pergo Presto flooring that we 
will be able to dry/mop and damp/mop - again, it's not just a snap 
job...
(with just the oven, furnace, and entire refer left that's original and 
feeling lucky about that)
